Dispute in Antioch

15 Some men^(A) came down from Judea and began to teach the brothers: “Unless you are circumcised^(B) according to the custom prescribed by Moses,^(C) you cannot be saved!”

²¹ But they have been told about you that you teach all the Jews who are among the Gentiles to abandon Moses, by telling them not to circumcise their children or to walk in our customs.^(A)

³ especially since you are an expert in all the Jewish customs and controversies. Therefore I beg you to listen to me patiently.
