Isaiah 48:1-2

48 The Lord says, “·Family [^LHouse] of Jacob, listen to me.
    You are called [^Lby the name of] Israel,
    and you come from the ·family [^Lwaters; wellsprings] of Judah.
You ·swear [take oaths] by the Lord’s name
    and ·praise [confess; call on] the God of Israel,
    but ·you are not honest or sincere [^Lnot in truth or in righteousness].
² You call yourselves ·people of [or by the name of; ^Lfrom] the holy city,
    and you ·depend on [trust in] the God of Israel,
    who is named the Lord ·All-Powerful [Almighty; of Heaven’s Armies; ^Tof hosts].
