Jeremiah 48:27-29

The Voice

²⁸ Eternal One: Run from your towns and live in the wilderness,
        you citizens of Moab;
    Hide among the rocks
        like doves who nest among the cliffs.
²⁹     We have all heard about the pride of Moab—
        so vain and so smug.
    We have all heard about her pride and arrogance
        and her overconfident heart.
