³⁴ [^LTherefore] ·the people [^Lthey] said to him, “Sir, give us this bread always.”

³⁵ Then Jesus said to them, “I am the ·bread that gives life [^Tbread of life]. Whoever comes to me will never be hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty. ³⁶ But as I told you before, you have seen me and still don’t believe.
