⁶ Pour out your wrath on the nations
that don’t acknowledge you,
on the kingdoms that don’t call on your name,^(A)

³¹ I will pour out my indignation on you;
I will blow the fire of my fury on you.^(A)
I will hand you over to brutal men,
skilled at destruction.

⁸ Therefore, wait for me^(A)—
this is the Lord’s declaration—
until the day I rise up for plunder.^[a]
For my decision is to gather nations,
to assemble kingdoms,
in order to pour out my indignation^(B) on them,
all my burning anger;
for the whole earth will be consumed
by the fire of my jealousy.^(C)
