¹⁹ all the cities he used for storage, as well as the cities he used for his chariots and horsemen. Solomon also built whatever he desired in Jerusalem, Lebanon, and all lands he reigned over. ²⁰ All the Amorites, the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites who still remained in his territories even though they were not Israelites, ²¹ the Israelites sought to annihilate; but from those who remained, Solomon assembled his conscripted labor force. This is still done today.
