6 For it is contained in Scripture:
Look! I lay a stone in Zion,(A)a chosen and honored[a] cornerstone,[b](B)and the one who believes in Himwill never be put to shame[d]
8 and
A stone to stumble over,[a]and a rock to trip over.[b](A)[c]
They stumble because they disobey the message; they were destined(B) for this.
