⁴ or to pay attention to myths^(A) and endless genealogies. These promote empty speculations rather than God’s plan,^(B) which operates by faith.

⁷ But have nothing to do with irreverent and silly myths.^(A) Rather, train yourself in godliness,^(B)

⁴ They will turn away from hearing the truth and will turn aside to myths.^(A)
