¹⁴ After this, he built the outer wall of the city of David from west of Gihon^(A) in the valley to the entrance of the Fish Gate;^(B) he brought it around the Ophel,^(C) and he heightened it considerably. He also placed military commanders in all the fortified cities of Judah.

Fish Gate

³ The sons of Hassenaah built the Fish Gate.^(A) They built it with beams and installed its doors, bolts, and bars.^(B)

³⁹ above the Gate of Ephraim,^(A) and by the Old Gate,^(B) the Fish Gate,^(C) the Tower of Hananel, and the Tower of the Hundred, to the Sheep Gate.^(D) They stopped at the Gate of the Guard.^(E)
