2 Samuel 16:11-13

¹¹ And David said to Abishai, and to all his servants, “Behold, my son, who came out of my own bowels, seeks my life! How much more so, then, may this son of Benjamin? Allow him to curse! For the LORD has bid him!

¹² “It may be that the LORD will look on my affliction and do me good for his cursing this day!”

¹³ And as David and his men went along the way, Shimei went along the side of the mountain, opposite him, and cursed as he went, and threw stones against him, and cast dust.
