⁹ And when they had taken security from Jason and the rest, they let them go.

Paul and Silas in Beroea

¹⁰ The brethren immediately sent Paul and Silas away by night to Beroe′a; and when they arrived they went into the Jewish synagogue. ¹¹ Now these Jews were more noble than those in Thessaloni′ca, for they received the word with all eagerness, examining the scriptures daily to see if these things were so.
