Acts 28:18-20

¹⁸ And when they had ^(A)examined me, they ^(B)were willing to release me because there were ^(C)no grounds ^[a]for putting me to death. ¹⁹ But when the Jews ^[b]objected, I was forced to ^(D)appeal to Caesar, not that I had any accusation against my nation. ²⁰ For this reason, therefore, I ^[c]requested to see you and to speak with you, since I am wearing ^(E)this chain for ^(F)the sake of the hope of Israel.”
