³ Now as he was traveling, it happened that he was approaching Damascus, and ^(A)suddenly a light from heaven flashed around him;

¹⁷ So Ananias departed and entered the house, and after ^(A)laying his hands on him said, “^(B)Brother Saul, the Lord Jesus, who appeared to you on the road by which you were coming, has sent me so that you may regain your sight and be ^(C)filled with the Holy Spirit.”

⁹ And the Lord said to Paul by ^(A)a vision at night, “Do not be afraid any longer, but go on speaking and do not be silent;

¹⁴ And he said, ‘^(A)The God of our fathers has ^(B)appointed you to know His will and to ^(C)see the ^(D)Righteous One and to hear a ^[a]message from His mouth.

¹⁸ and I saw Him saying to me, ‘^(A)Hurry and get out of Jerusalem quickly, because they will not accept your testimony about Me.’

¹¹ But on ^(A)the following night, the Lord stood near him and said, “^(B)Be courageous! For ^(C)as you have ^(D)testified to the truth about Me in Jerusalem, so you must testify in Rome also.”

⁸ and last of all, as ^[a]to one untimely born, ^(A)He appeared to me also.
