2 The Lord God has sworn(A) by His holiness:(B)
Look, the days are coming[a]when you will be taken away with hooks,(C)every last one of you with fishhooks.(D)
8 The Lord God has sworn by Himself(A)—this is the declaration of Yahweh, the God of Hosts:
I loathe Jacob’s pride(B)and hate his citadels,(C)so I will hand over the city(D) and everything in it.
