Amos 5:15-17

There will be wailing in all the public squares;^(E)
they will cry out in anguish^[a] in all the streets.
The farmer will be called on to mourn,^(F)
and professional mourners^[b](G) to wail.
¹⁷ There will be wailing in all the vineyards,^(H)
for I will pass among you.^(I)
The Lord has spoken.
