²⁶ I issue a decree^(A) that in all my royal dominion, people must tremble in fear before the God of Daniel:^(B)

⁷ Then I heard the man dressed in linen, who was above the water of the river. He raised both his hands^[a](A) toward heaven and swore by him who lives eternally^(B) that it would be for a time, times, and half a time.^(C) When the power of the holy people is shattered, all these things will be completed.
