⁸ But because the Lord loved^(A) you and kept the oath He swore to your fathers, He brought you out with a strong hand and redeemed^(B) you from the place of slavery, from the power of Pharaoh king of Egypt.

²⁶ I prayed to the Lord:

¹⁵ Remember that you were a slave in the land of Egypt and the Lord your God redeemed^(A) you; that is why I am giving you this command today.^(B)
