³⁰ You are to set up the tabernacle according to the plan for it that you have been shown on the mountain.^(A)

⁴ This is the way the lampstand was made: it was a hammered work of gold, hammered from its base to its flower petals. The lampstand was made according to the pattern the Lord had shown Moses.^(A)

¹¹ Then David gave his son Solomon the plans^(A) for the portico^(B) of the temple and its buildings, treasuries, upstairs rooms, inner rooms, and a room for the mercy seat.^(C)

¹⁹ David concluded, “By the Lord’s hand on me, he enabled me to understand everything in writing, all the details of the plan.”^[a]

God’s Real Tabernacle

⁴⁴ “Our ancestors had the tabernacle of the testimony in the wilderness, just as he who spoke to Moses commanded him to make it according to the pattern he had seen.^(A)

⁵ These serve as a copy and shadow^(A) of the heavenly things, as Moses was warned when he was about to complete the tabernacle. For God said, Be careful that you make everything according to the pattern that was shown to you on the mountain.^[a](B)
