⁴³ And they shall be on Aaron and on his sons when they enter the tent of meeting, or ^(A)when they approach the altar to minister in the Holy Place, so that they do not incur ^[a]guilt and die. ^(B)It shall be a statute forever to him and to his ^[b]descendants after him.

¹⁶ and thereby ^(A)bring upon them ^[a]punishment for guilt by eating their holy gifts; for I am the Lord who sanctifies them.’”

²² And ^(A)the sons of Israel shall not come near the tent of meeting again, or they will bring sin on themselves and die.
