¹⁷ So ^(A)I said, I will bring you up out of the oppression of Egypt to the land of ^(B)the Canaanite, the Hittite, the Amorite, the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite, to a land ^(C)flowing with milk and honey.”’

⁴ When ^(A)Pharaoh does not listen to you, I will lay My hand on Egypt and ^(B)bring out My armies, My people the sons of Israel, from the land of Egypt by ^(C)great judgments.

⁵¹ And on that very day ^(A)the Lord brought the sons of Israel out of the land of Egypt ^(B)according to their ^[a]multitudes.

⁶ So Moses and Aaron said to all the sons of Israel, “At evening ^[a](A)you will know that the Lord has brought you out of the land of Egypt;

Jethro, Moses’ Father-in-law

18 Now ^(A)Jethro, the priest of Midian, Moses’ father-in-law, heard about everything that God had done for Moses and for Israel His people, how the Lord had brought Israel out of Egypt.

^8 (A)and the Lord brought us out of Egypt with a mighty hand, an outstretched arm, and with great terror, and with signs and wonders;
