²¹ I will grant this people ^(A)favor in the sight of the Egyptians; and it shall be that when you go, you will not go empty-handed. ²² But every woman ^(B)shall ask her neighbor and the woman who lives in her house for articles of silver and articles of gold, and clothing; and you will put them on your sons and daughters. So you will ^(C)plunder the Egyptians.”

² Speak now ^[a]so that the people hear, that ^(A)each man is to ask of his neighbor, and each woman of her neighbor, articles of silver and articles of gold.” ³ And ^(B)the Lord gave the people favor in the sight of the Egyptians. ^(C)Furthermore, the man Moses himself was ^[b]greatly esteemed in the land of Egypt, both in the sight of Pharaoh’s servants and in the sight of the people.
