²⁸ Pharaoh said, “^(A)I will let you go, so that you may sacrifice to the Lord your God in the wilderness; only you shall not go very far away. ^(B)Plead for me.”

^28 (A)Plead with the Lord, for there has been enough of God’s ^[a]thunder and hail; and ^(B)I will let you go, and you shall stay no longer.”

¹⁷ So now, please forgive my sin only this once, and ^(A)plead with the Lord your God, that He would only remove this death from me.”

^7 (A)So the people came to Moses and said, “We have sinned, because we have spoken against the Lord and against you; ^(B)intercede with the Lord, that He will remove the serpents from us.” And Moses interceded for the people.

⁶ And the king responded and said to the man of God, “Please ^[a](A)appease the Lord your God and pray for me, so that my hand may be restored to me.” So ^(B)the man of God ^[b]appeased the Lord, and the king’s hand was restored to him, and it became as it was before.
