Genesis 1:13-15

¹³ And there was evening and there was morning, a third day.

¹⁴ Then God said, “Let there be ^[a](A)lights in the ^[b](B)expanse of the heavens to separate the day from the night, and they shall ^[c]serve as ^(C)signs and for ^(D)seasons, and for days and years; ¹⁵ and they ^[d]shall serve as lights in the ^[e]expanse of the heavens to give light on the earth”; and it was so.
