Genesis 22:10-12

¹⁰ And Abraham, stretching forth his hand, took the knife to kill his son.

¹¹ But the Angel of the LORD called to him from Heaven, saying, “Abraham! Abraham!” And he answered, “Here I am.”

¹² Then he said, “Do not lay your hand upon the child, nor do anything to him. For now I know that you fear God, seeing you have not spared your only son for My sake.”
