Genesis 22:9-11

⁹ And when they came to the place which God had shown him, Abraham built an altar there. And he arranged the wood and bound Isaac, his son, and laid him on the altar, upon the wood.

¹⁰ And Abraham, stretching forth his hand, took the knife to kill his son.

¹¹ But the Angel of the LORD called to him from Heaven, saying, “Abraham! Abraham!” And he answered, “Here I am.”
