⁸ And they said to him, “^(A)We have ^[a]had a dream, and there is no one to interpret it.” Then Joseph said to them, “^(B)Do interpretations not belong to God? Tell it to me, please.”

¹⁶ Joseph then answered Pharaoh, saying, “^[a](A)It has nothing to do with me; ^(B)God will ^[b]give Pharaoh an answer for his own good.”

⁴⁵ Just as you saw that a ^(A)stone was broken off from the mountain without hands, and that it crushed the iron, the bronze, the clay, the silver, and the gold, the ^(B)great God has made known to the king what ^(C)will take place ^[a]in the future; so the dream is certain and its interpretation is trustworthy.”
