⁵¹ Joseph named the firstborn ^[a]Manasseh; “For,” he said, “God has made me forget all my trouble and all of my father’s household.” ⁵² And he named the second ^[b]Ephraim; “For,” he said, “^(A)God has made me fruitful in the land of my affliction.”

¹⁰ And the child grew, and she brought him to Pharaoh’s daughter and ^(A)he became her son. And she named him ^[a]Moses, and said, “Because I drew him out of the water.”

²² Then she gave birth to ^(A)a son, and he named him ^[a]Gershom, for he said, “I have been ^(B)a stranger in a foreign land.”

²¹ She will give birth to a Son; and ^(A)you shall name Him Jesus, for ^[a]He ^(B)will save His people from their sins.”
