Exhortations to Godliness

¹⁹ Therefore, brothers, since we have boldness to enter the sanctuary through the blood of Jesus,^(A)

²⁴ to Jesus (mediator^(A) of a new covenant^(B)), and to the sprinkled blood, which says better things than the blood of Abel.^(C)

² according to the foreknowledge^(A) of God the Father and set apart by the Spirit^(B) for obedience^(C) and for sprinkling with the blood^(D) of Jesus Christ.

May grace and peace be multiplied to you.

¹⁹ but with the precious blood of Christ,^(A) like that of a lamb^(B) without defect or blemish.

⁵ and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead and the ruler of the kings of the earth.

To Him who loves us and has set us free^[a] from our sins by His blood,
