Hebrews 2:14-16

¹⁴ So then, as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he himself also took part with them, so that He might destroy (through death) him who had the power of death (namely, the Devil).

¹⁵ And that He might deliver all those who, for fear of death, were subject to bondage all their lifetime.

¹⁶ For He in no way took on the nature of angels, but He took on the seed of Abraham.
