²⁰ It will ^(A)never be inhabited or lived in from generation to generation;
Nor will the ^(B)Arab pitch his tent there,
Nor will shepherds allow their flocks to lie down there.

⁶ They did not say, ‘Where is the Lord
Who ^(A)brought us up out of the land of Egypt,
Who ^(B)led us through the wilderness,
Through a land of deserts and of pits,
Through a land of drought and of ^[a]deep darkness,
Through a land that no one crossed
And where no person lived?’
