John 12:13-15

¹³So they took branches of palm trees and went out to meet him, shouting,

“Hosanna!^[a]
How blessed is the one who comes
in the name of the Lord,^[b] the King of Israel!”

¹⁴Then Jesus found a young donkey and sat upon it, as it is written:

¹⁵“Stop being afraid, people^[c] of Zion.
Look, your king is coming,
sitting upon a donkey’s colt!”^[d]
