²⁶ One of the slaves of the high priest, who was related to the one ^(A)whose ear Peter cut off, *said, “Did I not see you in ^(B)the garden with Him?” ²⁷ Peter then denied it again, and immediately ^(C)a rooster crowed.

^28 (D)Then they *brought Jesus from ^(E)Caiaphas into ^(F)the ^[a]Praetorium, and it was early; and they themselves did not enter ^(G)the ^[b]Praetorium, so that ^(H)they would not be defiled, but might eat the Passover.
