¹⁵ And ^(A)any person who eats an animal which dies or is torn by animals, whether he is a native or a stranger, shall wash his clothes and bathe in water, and remain unclean until evening; then he will become clean.

⁸ He shall not eat ^(A)an animal which dies or is torn by animals, becoming unclean by it; I am the Lord.

²¹ “^(A)You shall not eat anything which dies of itself. You may give it to the stranger who is in your ^[a]town, so that he may eat it, or you may sell it to a stranger; for you are ^(B)a holy people to the Lord your God. ^(C)You shall not boil a young goat in its mother’s milk.

³¹ The priests shall not eat any bird or animal that has ^(A)died a natural death or has been torn to pieces by animals.
