^12 (A)You shall not swear falsely by My name, so as to ^(B)profane the name of your God; I am the Lord.

³ I will also set My face against that man and will cut him off from among his people, because he has given some of his ^[a]offspring to Molech, ^(A)so as to defile My sanctuary and ^(B)to profane My holy name.

⁶ They shall be holy to their God and ^(A)not profane the name of their God, for they present the offerings by fire ^[a]to the Lord, ^(B)the food of their God; so they shall be holy.

²⁰ When they came to the nations where they went, they ^(A)profaned My holy name, because it was said of them, ‘These are the ^(B)people of the Lord; yet they have come out of His land.’

¹² “But you are ^(A)profaning it, in that you say, ‘The table of the Lord is defiled, and as for its fruit, its food is to be despised.’
