²⁷ “When a calf, lamb or goat is born, it must remain with its mother for seven days. From the eighth day on, I will accept it as a food offering presented to me. ²⁸ Do not kill a cow and its calf on the same day. Do not kill a female sheep and its lamb on the same day.

²⁹ “Sacrifice a thank offering to me in the right way. Then I will accept it from you.
