Leviticus 22:28-30
New English Translation

28 You must not slaughter an ox or a sheep and its young[a] on the same day.[b] 29 When you sacrifice a thanksgiving offering to the Lord, you must sacrifice it so that it is acceptable for your benefit.[c] 30 On that very day[d] it must be eaten; you must not leave any part of it[e] over until morning. I am the Lord.
