¹¹ Whenever the unclean^(A) spirits^(B) saw him, they fell down^(C) before him and cried out, “You are the Son of God!” ^(D)

⁷ And he cried out with a loud voice, “What do you have to do with me, Jesus, Son^(A) of the Most High God?^(B) I beg you before God, don’t torment^(C) me!”

³⁵ The angel replied to her, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you,^(A) and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. Therefore, the holy one to be born will be called the Son of God.^(B)

⁴¹ Also, demons were coming out of many, shouting and saying, “You are the Son of God!” ^(A) But he rebuked them and would not allow them to speak, because they knew he was the Messiah.^(B)

³⁴ I have seen and testified that this is the Son of God.”^[a](A)

⁴⁹ “Rabbi,”^(A) Nathanael replied, “You are the Son^(B) of God; you are the King of Israel!” ^(C)

²⁰ Immediately he began proclaiming Jesus in the synagogues: “He is the Son of God.”^(A)
