⁴¹ The men of Nineveh will stand up at the judgment with this generation and condemn it,^(A) because they repented at Jonah’s preaching; and look—something greater than Jonah is here.^(B)

¹⁸ Anyone who believes in him is not condemned, but anyone who does not believe is already condemned,^(A) because he has not believed in the name^(B) of the one and only Son^(C) of God.

³⁶ The one who believes in the Son has eternal life, but the one who rejects the Son^[a] will not see life; instead, the wrath of God remains on him.^(A)

¹¹ He replied, “The man who made me well^(A) told me, ‘Pick up your mat and walk.’”

²³ If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven them; if you retain the sins of any, they are retained.”^(A)
