¹⁶ After Jesus was baptized, He went up immediately from the water. The heavens^(A) suddenly opened for Him,^[a] and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and coming down on Him.^(B)

¹⁰ As soon as He came up out of the water, He saw the heavens^(A) being torn open and the Spirit descending to Him like a dove.

²¹ When all the people were baptized,^(A) Jesus also was baptized. As He was praying,^(B) heaven opened,

⁵¹ Then He said, “I assure you: You^[a] will see heaven opened and the angels of God^(A) ascending and descending^(B) on the Son of Man.”^(C)

⁵⁶ “Look! I see the heavens opened and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God!”^(A)

¹¹ He saw heaven opened^(A) and an object that resembled a large sheet coming down, being lowered by its four corners to the earth.

The Throne Room of Heaven

4 After this I looked, and there in heaven was an open door. The first voice that I had heard speaking to me like a trumpet said, “Come up here, and I will show you what must take place after this.”

The Rider on a White Horse

¹¹ Then I saw heaven opened,^(A) and there was a white horse. Its rider is called Faithful and True,^(B) and He judges and makes war in righteousness.^(C)
