²⁴ Then the news about him spread throughout Syria.^(A) So they brought to him all those who were afflicted, those suffering from various diseases and intense pains, the demon-possessed, the epileptics, and the paralytics.^(B) And he healed them.

⁴⁵ Yet he went out and began to proclaim^(A) it widely and to spread the news,^(B) with the result that Jesus could no longer enter a town openly. But he was out in deserted places, and they came to him from everywhere.

³⁷ And news about him began to go out to every place in the vicinity.

¹⁵ But the news^[a] about him spread even more, and large crowds would come together to hear him and to be healed of their sicknesses.

⁶⁰ But he told him, “Let the dead bury their own dead, but you go and spread the news of the kingdom of God.”^(A)
