³⁹ But I say unto you, ^(A)Resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also.

^29 (A)And unto him that smiteth thee on the one cheek, offer also the other, ^(B)and him that taketh away thy cloak, forbid not to take thy coat also.

¹⁹ Dearly beloved, ^(A)avenge not yourselves, but give place unto wrath: for it is written, ^(B)Vengeance is mine: I will repay, saith the Lord.
