Numbers 1:49-51

⁴⁹ “Only you shall not include the tribe of Levi, nor take a census of them among the children of Israel.

⁵⁰ “But you shall appoint the Levites over the Tabernacle of the Testimony, and over all of its instruments, and over all things that belong to it. They shall bear the Tabernacle and all its instruments, and shall minister in it, and shall dwell all around the Tabernacle.

⁵¹ “And when the Tabernacle goes forth, the Levites shall take it down. And when the Tabernacle is to be pitched, the Levites shall set it up. For the stranger who comes near shall be killed.
