¹⁷ Then for the unclean person they shall take some of the ^[a]ashes of the ^[b]burnt ^[c](A)purification from sin and ^[d]running water shall be ^[e]added to them in a container. ¹⁸ And a clean person shall take hyssop and dip it in the water, and sprinkle it on the tent, on all the furnishings, on the persons who were there, and on the one who touched the bone or the one who was killed or the one who died naturally, or the grave. ¹⁹ Then the clean person ^(B)shall sprinkle on the unclean on the third day and on the seventh day; and on the seventh day he shall purify him, and he shall wash his clothes and bathe himself in water and will be clean by evening.

^5 (A)He saved us, ^(B)not on the basis of deeds which we did in righteousness, but ^(C)in accordance with His mercy, by the ^(D)washing of regeneration and ^(E)renewing by the Holy Spirit, ^6 (F)whom He ^(G)richly poured out upon us through Jesus Christ our Savior,

¹³ For if ^(A)the blood of goats and bulls, and ^(B)the ^[a]ashes of a heifer sprinkling those who have been defiled, sanctify for the ^[b]cleansing of the flesh,

¹⁹ For when every commandment had been ^(A)spoken by Moses to all the people according to the Law, ^(B)he took the ^(C)blood of the calves and the goats, with ^(D)water and scarlet wool and hyssop, and sprinkled both ^(E)the book itself and all the people,

²² let’s ^(A)approach God with a ^[a]sincere heart in ^(B)full assurance of faith, having our hearts ^(C)sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies ^(D)washed with pure water.
