² The Lord^[a] said to Satan, “The Lord rebuke you, Satan! May the Lord who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you! Isn’t this man a burning stick snatched from the fire?” ^(A)

²⁶ He said to them, “Why are you afraid, you of little faith?” Then he got up and rebuked the winds and the sea,^(A) and there was a great calm.

²⁵ Jesus rebuked^(A) him saying, “Be silent,^(B) and come out of him!”

³⁵ But Jesus rebuked him^(A) and said, “Be silent and come out of him!”^(B) And throwing him down before them, the demon came out of him without hurting him at all.

³⁹ So he stood over her and rebuked the fever, and it left her. She got up immediately^(A) and began to serve them.

⁹ Yet when Michael^(A) the archangel^(B) was disputing with the devil^(C) in an argument about Moses’s^(D) body, he did not dare utter a slanderous condemnation against him but said, “The Lord rebuke you!”
