De aici am mers pe mare şi a doua zi am ajuns în faţa insulei Chios. În ziua următoare, de abia am atins Samos, ne-am oprit în Troghilion şi a doua zi am venit la Milet.

De acolo am plecat mai departe pe mare, iar a doua zi am ajuns vizavi de Chios. O zi mai târziu am sosit în Samos, (apoi ne-am oprit în Troghilion,) iar în ziua următoare am ajuns în Milet.
