Version
Psalm 67

Psalm 67[a]

For the music director, to be accompanied by stringed instruments; a psalm, a song.

67 May God show us his favor[b] and bless us.[c]
May he smile on us.[d] (Selah)
Then those living on earth will know what you are like;
all nations will know how you deliver your people.[e]
Let the nations thank you, O God.
Let all the nations thank you.[f]
Let foreigners[g] rejoice and celebrate.
For you execute justice among the nations,
and govern the people living on earth.[h] (Selah)
Let the nations thank you, O God.
Let all the nations thank you.[i]
The earth yields its crops.
May God, our God, bless us.
May God bless us.[j]
Then all the ends of the earth will give him the honor he deserves.[k]

Proverbs 2:6-8

For[a] the Lord gives[b] wisdom,
and from his mouth[c] comes[d] knowledge and understanding.
He stores up[e] effective counsel[f] for the upright,[g]
and is like[h] a shield[i] for those who live[j] with integrity,[k]
to guard[l] the paths of the righteous[m]
and to protect[n] the way of his pious ones.[o]

Acts 16:1-8

Timothy Joins Paul and Silas

16 He also came to Derbe[a] and to Lystra.[b] A disciple[c] named Timothy was there, the son of a Jewish woman who was a believer,[d] but whose father was a Greek.[e] The brothers in Lystra and Iconium spoke well[f] of him.[g] Paul wanted Timothy[h] to accompany him, and he took[i] him and circumcised[j] him because of the Jews who were in those places,[k] for they all knew that his father was Greek.[l] As they went through the towns,[m] they passed on[n] the decrees that had been decided on by the apostles and elders in Jerusalem for the Gentile believers[o] to obey.[p] So the churches were being strengthened in the faith and were increasing in number every day.[q]

Paul’s Vision of the Macedonian Man

They went through the region of Phrygia[r] and Galatia,[s] having been prevented[t] by the Holy Spirit from speaking the message[u] in the province of Asia.[v] When they came to[w] Mysia,[x] they attempted to go into Bithynia,[y] but the Spirit of Jesus did not allow[z] them to do this,[aa] so they passed through[ab] Mysia[ac] and went down to Troas.[ad]
